Morgan Rose Manion

January 20, 2004 — June 20, 2018

Morgan Rose Manion, age 14, of Belcamp, MD passed away on June 20, 2018 in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of P. Michael and Angela Cheryl (McCleary) Manion. She was an 8th grade graduate of Trinity Lutheran Christian School in Joppa, MD. She was accepted to Harford Technical High School to start in the Fall and was enrolled in the Printing and Graphic Communication Program. She loved to learn about space and science, especially the study of renewable energy sources like solar power. She wanted to work with NASA and help with the Mars Exploration Project. Morgan had a passion to read and draw. Additionally, she loved music, especially Panic! at the Disco (anyone attending the Baltimore concert this summer please wear a beanie in honor of Morgan). She enjoyed volunteering at animal shelters and the Plumpton Park Zoo. You would always know Morgan by her beanie, her headphones, and her warm and loving hugs. Morgan loved the people in her life more than words can express.

The Manion family wants to give a special “thank you” to all the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital (Pediatrics ICU). Everyone was so compassionate and supportive. Through the Living Legacy Foundation, Morgan was able to help save five lives via organ donation.

Morgan is survived by nanny, Mary C. McCleary; grandma, Sandra L. Griffis; granddad, SFC Ricky G. Whitten; great grandma, Audrey E. Ridner; and by extended loving family.
She was preceded in death by grandpop, John W. McCleary.
