Mary Elizabeth Swords

Mary Elizabeth Swords, age 85, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on July 5, 2018 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of John William and Bertha Richardson Lydon and was the wife of the late Reuben Swords Jr. She had worked at Bata Shoe Company and was a member of VFW Post #5337 and American Legion Post #128.
Mrs. Swords is survived by her son, George Thomas Starnes (Virginia Lynn); two brothers, John William Lydon and Richard Michael Lydon (Monique); grandson, Duane T. Starnes and granddaughter-in-law, Michele Starnes; great-grandsons, Jake and Luke Starnes; and nieces and nephews.
