Lawrence Joseph Ambrose Sr. "Poppy"

Lawrence Joseph Ambrose Sr. "Poppy", age 90, of Middle River, MD passed away on January 14, 2018 at Seasons Hospice @ Franklin Square in Rosedale, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Lorenzo Lawerence Ambrose and Anna Barbara (Gothe) Ambrose and was the husband of the late Regina Lucille Ambrose. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Korea. After retiring from General Motors after 40 years he was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and was a member of the Holy Name Society St. Clare Parish. He loved to do puzzles.

Mr. Ambrose is survived by his children, Larry J. Ambrose, Jr. (Linda) and Barbara Ann Wolff (Mark); six grandchildren, Melissa Tolson (Larry), Angela Wolff, Jaime Wolff, Davrielle (Dawnie) Ambrose, Lauren (Jake) Hughes, Krystie (Andrew Jobes) Ambrose; great grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Noah, Gavin and Natalie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary, Catherine, Eileen, Edna and George.
