Obituary for H. Louise Wampler

H. Louise Wampler, age 88, of Edgewood, MD passed away on April 7, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Pickens, SC, she was the daughter of EB and Martha (Ball) Pace and was the wife of the late Eugene Elden Wampler. Prior to starting her family, she served as a secretary to the Command Staff of the Chemical Corps Board at Edgewood Arsenal. She was a long time active member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Perryman where she was a Sunday school teacher for 62 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, trips to the Amish Country and she especially loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and the Harford County Library System displayed her library card as the oldest they could find. She was a friend to everyone she met and dearly loved her primary care physician Dr. Ann Osman.

Mrs. Wampler is survived by son, Steve Wampler of Edgewood; daughter, Rebecca Lynne Fender of Abingdon; grandchildren, Sarah Greenspun (David) of Aberdeen; brother, Curtis Pace of Joppa; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Ray Fender, grandson Jacob Parcell, and brother Harold Dean Pace.

Contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer, PO Box 65039, Dallas, TX 75265.
