Dorothy Lee Day

Dorothy Lee Day, age 91, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on January 18, 2018 at Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Dry Fork District, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Garber Lee Bright and Evelyn Ruth (Jackson) Bright. She was a hard worker, raising her children and enjoyed going to church.

Ms. Day is survived by three sons, Robert Day of SC, Jeffrey Day of Middle River and Harold William Day of Abingdon; and two sisters, Betty Cogar of Middle River and Carol Kendall of Secretary, MD. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald Linweaver, Dennis Day, and Richard Day, and 4 sisters, Elanore Carr, Edith Bonner, Wanda Wilfong and Helen Moran.
