Charles Franklin Rigsby

Charles Franklin Rigsby, age 82, of Street, MD passed away on January 14, 2018 at his home. Born in Rennick, WV, he was the son of William Arch Rigsby and Ida Agnes (Cochran) Rigsby. He retired from Chrysler Corporation where he worked as an inspector. He was a member of Cedar Gun Club in Darlington and enjoyed fishing at the Conowingo Dam, trap shooting and playing shuffle board.

Mr. Rigsby is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Lou Rigsby; two daughters, Joyce McCarter of Street and Ella (Vince) Roark of Darlington; son, Dennis (Tina) Rigsby of Street; three grandsons, Justin (Nichole) Evans of Havre de Grace, Jamie McCarter of Plantation, FL and Vincent Roark of Darlington; great-grandson, Lucas Evans of Havre de Grace; step-grand daughter, Cheryl (Chuck) LaMar of Fawn Grove, PA; and step-great grandchildren, Sierra and CJ LaMar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Rigsby; brother, Robert Rigsby and his sister, Alice Cochran.

Pallbearers were Vince Roark, Vincent Roark, Justin Evans, Robert Roark, Russell Comer and Tony Keen.
