Carolyn Catherine Aucker

Carolyn Catherine Aucker (Wunder) of Bel Air, Maryland, daughter of Catherine and Frederick Wunder, Sr., rested peacefully in the arms of her Savior on August 14, 2018.

She faithfully served her Lord and those around her, especially those in need. Her smile lit up the room, and her love for others lit up the lives of all who knew her. Family and friends meant everything to her. She was a skilled seamstress and an active member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church (Abingdon, Maryland).

Carolyn was a faithful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by sons: Brian Aucker and wife Pam, Lawrence Aucker and wife Helen, Jeffrey Aucker and wife Tracy, Bill Aucker and wife Leslie; by grandchildren: Erin Hutchinson (Aucker) and husband Chet, Nathan Aucker and wife Ashley, Rachael Aucker, Lawrence Aucker, Luke Aucker, Lauren Razo (Aucker) and husband Jordan, Josh Aucker, Joy Aucker, Taylor Moran, and Devin Aucker; by great-grandchildren: Harkins, Cedar, Fin, and Aurelia Hutchinson; Elijah, Caroline, and Anderson Aucker; Amelia Aucker; and Jordan Razo, Jr. She is survived by siblings: Anna Weinkam, Kathleen (Mickey) Ogle, and John Wunder, Sr.

She was preceded in death by grandchild Faline Aucker and siblings Baby Boy Wunder, Marie Wolf, Margaret DeCarlo, George Wunder, Sr., Elizabeth Rasmussen, Paul Wunder, Amelia Rowles, and Frederick Wunder, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to New Covenant Presbyterian Church in memory of Carolyn Aucker. These will be applied to the Deacon’s Fund to help those in need.

All are invited back to the church for refreshments following the service.
