Audrey A. Steelman

Audrey A. Steelman, age 78, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on June 26, 2018 at Seasons Hospice @ Franklin Square in Rosedale, MD. Born in Jarrettsville, MD, she was the daughter of Elvin Verl and Audrey Faye (Brown) Good and wife of the late Alvin Steelman.

Mrs. Steelman is survived by three sons, Chris E. Steelman of Aberdeen, Sidney L. Steelman of Havre de Grace and Tony V. Steelman of Darlington; daughter, Denise Jordan of Churchville; two daughters-in-law, Debbie Steelman of Havre de Grace and Bambi Steelman of Darlington; two sisters, Geraldean R. Walker of Havre de Grace and Christine L. Blevins of Abingdon; son-in-law, Kent Jordan of Churchville; brother, Samuel Verl Good of Havre de Grace; 12 grandchildren, Katie Bryan, Luke Steelman, Zachary and Grant Steelman, Rebecca VanAmburg, Austin, Davis and Lindsey Steelman, Weston Jordan, Elise Fowler, Dalton and Wyatt Jordan; and 4 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Corey, Brett, and Drew VanAmburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Good and sister, Elaine Margie Arnold.

She was a lifetime member of Bel Air Church of the Nazarene and served on the board of the Hickory Childhood Development Center. Her career and passion was being a school teacher. She taught for over 40 years including 27 years years teaching third grade at Dublin Elementary School. Mrs. Steelman had the gift of hospitality and loved to host dinners and parties. Other interests include flower gardening, traveling, cooking, and playing cards. Her greatest passion was simply spending time with her family and friends.
