Archie C. Mcdonald Jr.

April 29, 1941 — August 25, 2018

Archie C. McDonald Jr. of Bel Air passed away peacefully Saturday, August 25 at the age of 77. Archie was the son of the late Archie C. McDonald Sr., and Arlene T. McDonald and husband of the late Carolyn C. McDonald. He is survived by daughter Sharon A. Kellerman of Bel Air, MD, son Thomas A. McDonald of Olney, MD, daughter Katherine M. Libonate of Walnut Creek, CA, their 3 spouses, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Mr. McDonald is a native of Warren, Massachusetts who lived in North Carolina, South Carolina and Germany prior to moving to Maryland. A graduate of Frostburg State University, he earned his Master’s Degree from Loyola College retiring with 30 years of service from the Harford County School System, most recently as Director, Food Service Department.

He most enjoyed spending time with family, companion Toni Julian, close friends, and college fraternity brothers. He loved the beach, boating, crabs and cookouts. An avid sports fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Orioles and University of Maryland football and basketball where he held season tickets, Archie tailgated and attended games for years.
