Anna Virginia Walsh

Anna Virginia Walsh, 85 of Bel Air, MD passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Madonna Heritage Assisted Living. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frank Joseph Columbia and Josephine Teresa (Barranco) Columbia.

She is survived by her children, William Walsh of Bel Air; Joanne Hall of Bel Air; Kathleen Vest and husband Danny of Bel Air; Patricia Reeves and husband Dave of Bel Air; brothers Samuel Columbia of Bel Air and Vincent Columbia of Connecticut.
Grandchildren, Jason Ellis and wife Cindy; Jennifer Ellis, Connor Reeves, Madison Reeves, Halona Walsh, Zachary Vest and Ryan Vest. Great-grandchildren, Cameron Temple and Landon and Logan Ellis all of Bel Air and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Rosalie Stacey and Teresa Stewart.

She was a 1950 graduate of Seton High School in Baltimore. After her retirement with the Aegis newspaper, she enjoyed making floral arrangements, bingo, listening to her music and cooking for her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
