Alice Lorraine Jones

Alice Lorraine Jones, 91, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on November 2, 2017 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Churchville, MD, she was the daughter of Francis Madison and Ada Mae (Gullion) Cox, and was the wife for 24 years, of the late Charles N. Jones whom she married in 1946. She had worked for Bata Shoe Company for 10 years, drove a school bus for Harford County for Moulsdale Bus Company for 10 years, and worked for the Harford County Public School System for 9 years where she retired in 1995. She attended Stepney Faith Center for 48 years which she enjoyed. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles and spend time with her grandkids. She also loved flowers and animals, and listening to Christian and Bluegrass music.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Charles Lee Jones, Norman Elwood Jones and Gloria Irene King; brother, Francis Madison Cox, Jr.; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nellie Lorraine Deller.
